Our Reputation

I have worked for Spokane Airports for fourteen years, In that time, I have worked with IRS on small and large projects that the Airport has undertaken, and I can say without qualification that IRS has completed each of their projects within normal budget and schedule parameters. Without exception, their projects are characterized by high quality workmanship, efficient and effective project management and fair dealings in their business transactions. IRS personnel are particularly adept at conforming to contract requirements, specifications and standards of workmanship. Their commitment to quality meets or even exceeds the rigorous requirements contained in contract provisions. IRS is highly focused on cost and schedule control, and does a great job of managing both their own personnel and their subcontractors.

Staff members at Kyron Environmental have had the pleasure of working with IRS Environmental for over 15 years on a number of asbestos, lead abatement, mold remediation hazardous materials clean up and demolition projects throughout Washington and North Idaho. On every project, IRS Environmental demonstrated a thorough knowledge of what was required of them both contractually and by regulation. They always completed their work to the satisfaction of the client and affected regulatory agencies. IRS has state of the art equipment unmatched in this region that enables them to get work done efficiently. We appreciate their ability to work with people, attentions to detail, and overall integrity.

I have worked with IRS Environmental since the mid 1980’s on many asbestos abatement projects over the years and recently a few mold remediation projects too. For the past 11 years I have worked for public schools in eastern Washington State… Anytime IRS Environmental gets a bid on one of my school projects I feel very comfortable that they will do a good job, and they have never disappointed. It is the integrity, honesty, and their attention to detail that IRS Environmental brings to a project that makes them one of the most respected asbestos abatement contractors in the region. A company like this doesn’t stay in business for over 20 years without these qualities.

We have worked with IRS on several projects…When we have IRS on the project our budget is assured and we do not have surprises. Couple this with their excellent customer service approach and there is no reason to pursue other abatement firms.

Spokane Regional Air Quality Authority inspected the last project at 5th and Oak that IRS did for us in preparation of the demolition of the buildings. They (the inspector) was very complimentary for IRS’s work. Also, Maureen Fay is incredible to work with, a true asset.

Ken, you (& your crew) did a great job on this project, especially responding to the many ‘mini-projects’ that crept up since March. I really appreciated your attention to detail and the quality of work. You should feel very proud to have made our steam tunnel system asbestos-free. I know our steam plant crew (& our maintenance crews) will be able to work more safely and efficiently for the next century, for sure! Good luck to you and thanks again for a job well done.

This project surely was a success. We had no complaints from occupants that I am aware of. We did get several compliments though. IRS is a very good abatement firm that is trustworthy and dependable. If anybody has any questions about this project feel free to contact me.

The Montana job is starting to come to a close. The crew is still removing roofing material today and then in final clean late this afternoon. Wednesday we will be finishing the final clean and visual inspection and will start packing up some of the equipment. Some of the guys will be leaving after work on Wednesday to go to other jobs and the rest will finish policing the grounds and doing walk throughs with me. Friday Ken and I will be going over our paper work.

We have heard from the locals that there is a lot of snow once we leave Billings! Thanks for getting me out of here on time and for a very good job. If you talk to Carl, please tell him from me that this is one of the most professional crews I have ever worked with! Talk to you guys later!

Thank you so much for the excellent work you did on our Pilot Abatement Project. I was amazed how easy it was to work and schedule with your company. The on-site crew kept things moving and did the little extra things that show they know the meaning of customer service. Especially impressive was the fact we did not receive complaints about the abatement crew from our tenants. Your supervisor did a fantastic job of keeping them informed and being flexible in accommodating our people.

We look forward to working with you again in the future! Thanks again for your great performance on this project.
